1. Can I see you play before booking?
Yes of course - we often perform publicly at London’s top bars and clubs and many of our private bookings come as a result of seeing us live. Some of our public performances may require a cover charge but if you get in touch with us before the event we will try to get you on the guestlist. All of our public performances are advertised on our home page so keep an eye out for forthcoming shows. For our private bookings, attendance is always at the discretion of our clients and may or may not be possible. You are also welcome to come and meet the band at one of our rehearsals where you can see Sunday Morning People in action and discuss any requirements you may have. Please email info@sundaymorningpeople.com to arrange an appointment or to find out our next live date.
2. How far will you travel?
We are based in both London and the North East however we are happy to play (almost) anywhere in the country or even the world as long as accomodation can be provided and our travel expenses covered. Our ability to perform the latest chart hits has made us very popular with younger crowds in major cities all across the UK. Wedding bookings on the other hand often see us travelling to country retreats in the middle of nowhere. From time to time we may also be available for club/hotel residencies both home and abroad for up to two weeks at a time.
3. What kind of insurance do you have?
For the safety of our clients and guests, all of our equipment is regularly PAT tested by a qualified electrician and we have public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. Certificates can be provided on request.
4. Can you play special requests?
Yes, as long as the band are informed in advance then we are happy to learn new songs. Typically we are asked to do this at celebrations such as weddings or barmitzvahs where we can perform a specific song for a ‘first dance’.
5. Can I hear a recording of you?
Please send us an email and we will send you some audio samples of the band.
Any other questions, please get in touch.
