Sunday Morning People are a collective of extraordinary soul, funk and jazz musicians that perform classic disco & motown alongside the latest rock, pop, and R&B. We can certainly get you dancing, but we can also stay in the background if you want something on the lighter side.

As well as private bookings, Sunday Morning People regularly perform for the public at some of the most prestigious venues around the country. In addition, we are often asked to work as session musicians with up-and-coming artists - both live and in the recording studio. By dedicating all our time to music, we are able to please both our private clients and our growing fanbase.

Sunday Morning People are one of the most versatile bands around. Depending on the size of the event, we can be anything from a piano/vocal duo, to a jazz quartet, to a full ten-piece soul band. Typically the group consists of five musicians - keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, and vocals. It is not uncommon however for us to invite our backing singers, percussionists, and horn players into the mix. For private bookings, we can provide any number/combination of musicians and instruments.
